Our associates separate all items into these three categories:
1. Good - Good items are paired ten to a bundle
2. Repair - Repaired items are patched with a maximum of two patches per item and paired 10 to a bundle.
3. Non-Salvage - Non-Salvage items are returned to you for disposal.

Our service is environmentally responsible. We continue to recycle our textiles instead of disposing them in our overcrowded landfills or incinerating these items and adding to our air quality concerns.

Glove Cleaning and Repair
Repairing and reusing your safety equipment and protective apparel saves money and the environment. Spirit Services Company can help you cut costs by renovating your safety and protective apparel. Your soiled and damaged gloves, aprons, sleeves, and other safety items can be cleaned, repaired and replenished at one-sixth of your replacement costs. In addition, by reusing your safety material, you are cutting back on the amount of waste you send to landfills or incinerators.

Each Step Designed with the Customer in Mind
1. All safety renovation accounts are checked into our plant daily and a production scheduling list is prepared.
2. The different types of safety renovation items are sorted through our Water Washing System or our Dry Cleaning System.
3. All customers orders are weighed in while soiled through our computerized scale system to provide accurate billing information.
4. Fair and considerate billing is guaranteed. Lightly soiled items cost less to clean than
heavily soiled materials.
5. Water washed items are washed at a low temperature with pH sensitive
detergent.
6. Some safety renovation items are processed in our Stoddard Solvent Dry Cleaning
system and are washed for approximately 40 minutes.
7. Items are separated into Good, Repair and Non-Salvage bundles.
8. Customer orders are placed in plastic bags, drums or cages depending on
the size of the account.
9. All orders are properly identified and cleaned separately to assure all material is returned to you, our valued customer.

Through our product and processing technologies we remove the waste stream from your facility contained in the appropriate absorbent product. Spirit then removes the waste solvent or fluids from the absorbent material in accordance with stringent environmental regulations. The water and "sludge" from the processing of the absorbent material is treated and returned to our local municipality in accordance with Local, State and Federal regulations, thus eliminating a waste stream and added expense from your facility or business. Treated Dust & Wet Mops
Spirit Services Company offers the most effective Treated Dust Mop in the business. While most companies have discontinued the process of treating mops, we understand the importance of the process and that an untreated mop is not effective. To clean floors properly, a dust mop must be treated with the right substance. it must be treated evenly and with the right amount. Too much, and the mop could be too heavy or hard to use and the treatment can be transferred to the floor. Too little, and it will not catch dust and dirt, but simply push it around and into the air.

The frame of the mop is also important. Our frames have a 360 degree swivel, for easy mopping under and around furniture.
